  1. Fertiliser, ammonia tanks, taras both types, barrier wagons, 47,42,20ft container flats, cement bogie, bubble, curtain side and other 4 wheel bagged cement. On the container flats thet done ones with various loads such as beer keg cages. Loco kits 121/141/181/071/201, hunslet . They also had brass sides kits for nir railcars, mk2/3 egv, gennys, restaurants, buffets etc. They also done a huge range of decals and other accessories including a range of paints. Most of the kits with a little extra work created top drawer models and others out of the box created top drawer models. The odd untouched kit comes up for sale but most have been built the whitemetal ones seem to be more common.

  13. BJust checked my pics of the ammonias they range in colour from bright white, dirty white, yellowish and all the way to dirty brown/black. The ammonias in the early to mid 1990's were hauled by the well aged a class which spluttered oil everywhere plus as with all freight stock they were rarely if ever washed. Theres also variants in the livery especially logos and placement of logos.

  19. Got my mits on the two dvds over the xmas ,they re available from the Clonakilty rail museum. I ve also been given a loan of a local historians collection of photos and information on the station and the West Cork line in general.
  20. Found another one
  21. All my photos are taken from the perimeter wall or gates, the best spots are by the gate for arrivals, to the left of the gates theres a spot overlooking the refueling area which is handy as locos are left here at weekends and it also covers the yard. A little further up from here theres a good spot overlooking the Waterford west signal cabin but it covers the enterance to the yard as well. For traffic heading east of the station i use the overbridge just east of the station(first turn off on the dual carriageway).
