  1. I think it's the way the NEM pocket itself is attached to the carraige, it just droops down from where its connected. Where would I get these small shims?
  2. Hi, @irishthump yes thanks, I went ahead and tried the #19, but I did need to bend the pin up quite a lot in order to get it over the magnets. Seems to work ok now.
  3. Hi @Noel @irishthump I've been looking up this thread and wondering if you have added Kadee couplings to the Hattons (now Accurascale) Genesis 6 wheel coaches and what type did you use
  4. Hi, even though I've joined a while I might also take the opportunity now to say hello. Like Paul, I recently got back into model railways. Initially I came on looking for information on Kadee couplings and have kept coming back and found it a great source of tips and information on Irish railways, so thank you to everyone. Like Paul I'm short on space so have stuck with a small shunting diorama as a way to present the stunning models IRM / Accurascale have made! regards Finbarr
  5. Sorry, may need to join the Facebook group first: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3208540152584491/ "Irish Railways Buy and Sell - Models & Accessories, Memorabilia & Books"
  6. I do see Michael Brady posting these kinds of vans for sale on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/3208540152584491/user/100012327046204/ I've not purchased any so I'm not sure is he 3D printing them himself or respraying UK RtR models.
  7. @Davenport By coincidence I saw this post on Facebook referring to a card kit from "wordsworth model railway", link here to the post https://www.facebook.com/share/p/16n5tszwsU/
  8. Nice, Thanks for that!
  9. Great photos, I love the level of detail everywhere. Have to ask where did you get the bulk liquid container loads, they look superb!
  10. Hi @Ironroad Looking for advice, I recently purchased a pack and I'm wondering am I meant to force two LR41 batteries in on top of each other. It just seems too tight and I didn't want to force it, so thought better to ask. I also don't see how to switch the LED on and off without a wand?
  11. Thanks for that, appreciate the advice. I have just started using them and for sure they allow for a much better experience in shunting operations.
  12. Just received the Brake van and likewise want to complement on the quality of the product, it really is superb ... and certainly was very well packaged! I see a photo above from @Markleman showing the Kadee couplings, and just like to find out what type of Kadee and any advice on swopping them with the new coupling
  13. I did email them earlier this week and they came straight back to say that it is taking them time, they have over 9,000 orders to process and had to set up a separate warehouse to deal with them. So to be fair, I'm sure they will all arrive eventually.
  14. Hi there, I'm new to the hobby, but just wondering if anyone has been to this show in the Alexandra palace in North London in previous years and what did they think of it https://www.world-of-railways.co.uk/information/the-london-festival-of-railway-modelling Thinking of going over in March
