Also am drawing on a4 sheet of paper a dimensional diagram of the future layout and hoping from IE’s FOIs that they will supply a drawing of Connolly shed its self and maybe the yellow brick house and turntable next to it, if not I’ll ask as the FOIs are a great, easily alternative to source specific needs based on our railways as many would know

Where Connolly shed will be Where I then had the idea to put in the turntable So I can remove the white shelf where my 141 is displayed but as u can notice chunk the brink went, not to worry as there will be wooden support beams put in as I will have locos and other rolling stock up on there

Thanks so much, ill show what im working with as connolly shed will be a siding from a double track which ill also be sending which will be very basic circuit with cork pad under the tracks and sections going into the shed and out im planning on placing basalt and basalt will definally be around the shed itself

Hi all, Im currently planning on building a layout and the way in building it and wondering if anyone has a diagram of the shed and maybe turntable, Im hoping to build connolly shed and its turntable as a first layout to junction off from my circuit of double track in my bedroom I also might document the journey here from building the shed to running locos up and down

Thats unreal paul, you must of been in the central stores when u found those, was there and saw soem bits too like a ticket machine for parking ur cars(no change was in it), level crossing lights and a 22000 cab as a movie prop and boxes that said movie props ill send pics in

UPDATE ON CLONSILLA: So yesterday i went clonsilla as coolmine and castleknock have no staff at those stations and clonsilla had, i dont know the actual name of the job, lets call him the 'crossing man'. So I askedn him what @minister_of_hard_ship told me he told me the IE signs are stored in museums, i mentioned if inchicore would too? He said yes there too and they be worth thousands and held as relics in glass cases But a friend of mine said they went white with the slightest bit of sun and were all fucked into a skip due to their condition

Completely reasonable i know people around my own age that ill ask and see as id love to sign up and keep this alive as a lot of clubs from IRRS to the RPSI are all older gentlemen and ofc if no one willing to step up and replace their roles, these places might sadly close for good
