Sorry guys for not getting back sooner, was away on hols. Thanks for your replies and suggestions, in the mean time I've fixed a few decals and as this is all new to me I've had a few learning curves with the different types of decal paper etc. Just needs a final spray of lacquer on the decals

Got a few decal sheets, going to have a go at it myself. Probably won't be any railtech spec. though

Don't suppose there's any polish coal ones in the pipeline, but would definitely be interested in those IFI ones Philip.

This became a familiar site all over the country, your county colours made up from fertiliser sacks and coal sacks. These ones were put up in Walsh Island, Offaly in 1998 for the now controversial hurling all ireland final between Clare and Offaly...and still there today. The yellow was cut sward, white was usually high nitrogen and green was super yield.

Is the buffers supposed to be brown ?

I think it has to be the footbridge

Nowadays most of the work is done by big contractors, Silage cutting, harvesting and spreading fertiliser etc.

I remember seeing ferts being loaded in the fertiliser depot in Portlaoise(now telfords) on the old Abbeyleix line and Avonmore animal feeds on the other side in the late 80s, early 90s.

Great day at Inchicore Works today, a credit to all the staff involved, lovely to be able to walk around the site

The first 45ft container I ever seen was an ECS, in 2002. I thought the trailer was too short, it must've been a headache for the driver with an extra 5ft tail swing.
