    This will be a fascinating project, featuring as it does one of the less frequently mentioned lines. I have been having some further 'micro musings' recently and this location did cross my mind, it's local to me, and like Capecastle, it has the perfect scenic break in the tunnel. Really looking forward to watching this one!

    Happy Christmas from me to everyone, must say this forum is a great oasis away from the mayhem throughout the year, thanks to you all - and the IRM team - for making it a great place to drop in on! Not railway-themed but here's a little winter scene I put together a few weeks back. Something bigger, better and more forum-appropriate planned for this time next year!!

    Lighting installed - comprises two cordless lighting strips which are USB charged and attached to a magnet affixed under two short pieces of hardboard, angled slightly upwards. Looks fine here but it remains to be seen if it is sufficient for an exhibition.  There are ‘warm’ and ‘cool’ settings too which make for a bit of variety.     And we have a name! The letters are maybe a bit big but they’ll have to do for now. Work is ongoing to install the wireless lighting behind the name - I’m not sure if the power from this will be enough to light the layout properly so if not I will supplement it at exhibitions.

    Not my era for modelling but most definitely my era for memories - these look absolutely spot on Philip and that shade of blue is very very nice! Great work as always.
