  1. Has to be the ultimate in realism - exceptional images John.
  2. Simply jaw dropping, both loco and trackwork!
  3. Exactly my thinking JB......
  4. A quick look at Google Earth's historical imagery shows vehicles identifiable in 2003, but now the site has been drained........
  5. Very dramatic shots - like some sort of 'apocalypse' movie scene.......
  6. Truly amazing photo JB! Superb view of Drogheda South cabin!
  7. Ah no rush.....sure time enough after the next announcement.........
  8. Interestingly, A30 in original silver seems to be the least popular with 65 left as I type this. I've seen one of these in person and they look stunning, I think definitely the most eye-catching livery so am surprised that this loco is the least popular even though A1 is almost sold out - the Special Edition factor probably explains that though. Also interesting is that dark green A46 was very popular yet light green A42 is not. Also - for some reason the very helpful customer reviews are only available on the .com version of the website and not on the .co.uk version?
  9. Jeepers these are hard to look at!!!
  10. Excellent Leslie! Happy new year to you.
  11. I think even Hornby did white wheels at one stage.....
  12. Tomorrow?
  13. Happy New Year to all members of the forum! Any new IRM announcements yet……..?
  14. Here's an A Class in Co. Monaghan - Inniskeen to be precise. Showing how filthy the silver livery became - I can just about make out the 'A' but can't make out the number......anyone? https://catalogue.nli.ie/Record/vtls000304549
  15. Now THAT is a beauty (the Manor, not the plane....) Great idea to get a narrow gauge one perfected first, before the GNR(I) S class announcement in 2022...... Or maybe a Q class...... in preserved livery.......
  16. Thankfully Kiltimagh is still looking very tidy for a station closed for nearly 50 years - photos from a recent visit. Looking forward to your layout developments John.
  17. Welcome Jonathan
  18. Thanks Adrian! Yes simply hoovered, but some of it was a bit inaccessible after getting into the 'nooks and crannies' so a finer nozzle on the vacuum cleaner would be handy to have!
  19. Very kind Fiacra - thank you
  20. Thanks all - I only saw Adavoyle once, at Cultra a few years back. Beyond impressive.
  21. Winter at Brookhall Mill - trying out Chris Nevard's idea to use bicarbonate of soda to create 'removable' snow!
  22. Great review of the IRM A class in the December issue of Model Rail - great to see the locos getting such praise, well done IRM!
  23. Lighting a candle for The Ballymena & Larne Railway.........
