  1. Like our mk5 and mk2, there is a full kinematic close coupling system designed so the gangways will touch on the straight.

  3. Welcome! Echoing previous posters and as someone who thought 'great, I have a big 33x13 space, I'll model Connolly and surrounds and RPSI sheds, and then maybe Kildare, or a cement depot and a viaduct, gotta have one of those, and and and and.... What ended up happening was 'bits' of it were built, but it never really got beyond a loop before frustration, time demands and 'where do I even begin' sink in, resulting in me likely losing the interest of my two eldest in the process. I now have a nice little 8x4 or so, with scenery, that my youngest participates in, while I dream of the 'big' layout maybe when I'm retired Unless you have a significant budget and NO OTHER demands on your time, start small is my recommendation too Hope that helps!
  4. You can add multiples to your cart and the. the ‘split payment’ installments option will appear in the cart (over €123) and you can set up installments as you wish there. Otherwise we just save your card details and will send you notification when they are in stock and either charge the saved card when ready to ship or you can choose another payment method then.
  5. We have a full run of Mainline versions, as well as the ambulance versions to come in 2024 which will also give us the tooling to do the RPSI sets justice.
  6. The Park Royals are due next January, and the ICRs in July if that helps UK customers can now buy in GBP from irishrailwaymodels.com with free shipping over £100 (Customers in NI can choose either EUR or GBP and get free postage on all purchases)
  7. Plan is to land all 16 together, and then announce the mainline, ambulances, etc.
  8. Samples of the new announcement will be on show at the Wexford show for those who are around As well as a 3D tool-print of the ICR

  10. Cómhlucht Siúicre Éireann (Mallow) had one
  11. Morning George, There are no systemic issues with the wagons, hence support having to take a closer look, perhaps get some video and photos and see if there is an issue with the wagon, or the track, etc. I'm sure the OP can post his resolution once he get's it, if its something that might be relevant to a wider audience. In the first instance, the community isn't a support forum for IRM, but we do keep an eye on posts and reply where we can, or where relevant. I must have missed a lot of posts about stayalives or couplings?
  12. hi Finnie Are they the ‘first generation’ wagon packs or did you buy them recently from us? Either way pop into livechat on the website or email support@irishrailwaymodels.com and we can help
  13. Aha. we don’t sell parts but we have ample supplies for warranty. did you email us about the parts requirements?
  14. We have lots of spares for the A why would we not?
  15. They don’t get cheaper with volume.
  16. Not one we’ve seen reported tho we have seen voltage spikes with some controllers cause partial resets. a Chip reset or stay alive switch on again will always resolve. We’re working with ESU to add more over voltage protection on the pcb for future runs.
  17. Any responsible manufacturer will have spares and parts for a reasonable amount of time. More so if the models remain in production but a ‘one man band’ like Murphy Models the process can be a little looser. we don’t have parts particularly for any MM items we sell (but do of course for any IRM items)
  18. Lol. it’s amonly paranoia if they’re not watching
  19. So many models, never enough time!
  20. Lol, luckily we are spread over a number of time zones, include several insomniacs, at least one new parent and the rest of us are just a bit mad, so it's all good
  21. Marklin collectors are a special breed.
  22. We’ve upgraded to a new system and it’s not 100% sorted yet. you can visit accurascale.com in the mean time and it will reach us too. I’m hoping to have it completed on IRM after tomorrows accura launch.
  23. It should be posted under the carrier ?
