  1. Like I said earlier, Never say never. Rumors of our lack of steam are quite unfounded and in time we will make everything we can that we’d like ourselves too Since launch we’ve driven a lot of growth in Irish outline, even converting UK outline accurascale customers to the green side. We also have the benefit of a strong and growing UK outline business which can subsidize Irish models that might not be very attractive otherwise. Both models that cross borders and Irish models that can be funded through Uk activities. For the Irish modeller it’s a great opportunity.

    NEW 00 WORKS J15

I agree all should be encouraged but it’s also not sensible to assume that a RTR manufacturer won’t get to a prototype that runs with the RPSI in time. I can promise several things next year, including steam, but the j15 will not be coming from IRM in the next 24 months. Hope that clarifies what I mean by ‘never say never’.

    NEW 00 WORKS J15

Fwiw, ‘mass production’ just means lots and lots of nice ladies in China assembling kits

    IRM Fert Wagon

They’re in the UK warehouse, after the BF weekend we should be all caught up today!
  5. Nothings changed this end.
  6. As a maybe indicative finger in the air, the number of deltics running around on our p4/em wheelsets is 0.8% of the run
  7. Yes, the show were €20 each, but no 10% bundle discount, free postage, or 3% loyalty points.
  8. For clarity as it’s been asked, we do ship to Northern Ireland from the Irish website.

    IRM Fert Wagon

The Fertilisers, Liners and Kegs are in the shipment.
  10. Like all items, real time levels will show once the stock hits 50 units left and the bundle discount, free post and loyalty points will also apply (which is why they are €24.99 a pack)
  11. They have all been stamped as seconds / imperfect and we’ve put in place a limit of a maximum of two packs of each sku per customer. More details in a few days.
  12. While we sympathize with those wishing to plan ahead there is little point in us telling you what we have underway when you won’t see half of it for another two years? By announcing when either tooling is started or finished (like the ICR) we feel a delivery of about a year away is just about fair for everyone. Much longer and we are just landgrabbing with ‘vapour’ and much less and it’s harder to plan and budget for our customers. There is a fine line to thread but we have plans to make the waiting worthwhile and a range that will grow and widen to encompass the last 100 years (or more) of key Irish prototypes done to a high standard of detail and technology and accuracy we can all be proud of as Irish modellers. While crossover with UK outline helps things like the mk2b or c coaches, we’d have never done the A or the ICR or most of what’s coming in the next year if that was our only plan Even Irish narrow gauge now has a few champions on the team ! One never knows what the future might bring, but it will be fun
  13. As a mini teaser, IRM has 13 new tooled lines to launch lining up for the coming year, as well as delivering on the ICR, mk2b and 2c and much more A little something for everyone too.
  14. Good news! We've recoded how the bundle discount is applied so that reward points and coupons can now be applied to all items, even if they are already in a bundle discount!
  15. Items tagged exclusive are only available from us directly and not from retailers. For the 92 Rails of Sheffield have a pair of grey ones exclusively to them and Kernow Model Rail Centre are offering the Eddie Stobart edition.
  16. That’s pretty much it John. We should have a small number of sleeper packs to sell once they get here in a few weeks time.
  17. I think new disruptive manufacturers like accurascale has shaken up the Uk significantly and the offshoot has been more Irish models as a result!
