  1. And free postage on all orders. And your support helps fund more new irish models
  2. Hard to tell, we've shipped out over 1000 coaches since they landed, certainly proving popular!
  3. In terms of cost, the NIR packs work out at €66.66 a coach, in a three pack, the Orange 4-packs are €67.50 a coach, and the Park Royals are individually €69.99 each. The MM Mk2d's are €59.99 each, but do not have on board lighting, or close coupling systems, etc. So it's all pretty much on par tbh. Also we're down to just 6 versions still in stock - should we get more? https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/murphy-models-mark-2d-coaches/availability_in-stock
  4. We're working on this area at the moment and will have updates anon.
  5. Delivery starts this morning and once we have all preorders paid up and sorted we’ll know what the balance of stock is. There is a small amount above and beyond what’s needed which will go back on sale in the next 48 hours. HtH
  6. Multiple Units are staggeringly expensive to research, design, tool and manufacture so if you want more I’d humbly request you support the 22k endeavour
  7. Hornby are focusing more and more on licensing deals, railroad and TT so many options there for budget friendly entry models. Other companies are working hard to keep pricing on the detailed stuff reasonable (on average 29% cheaper than the big boys across the board) The futures bright. The futures green (and grey maybe!)
  8. Could well be on the same boat
  9. Shop local If you can’t find what you need then Rails shopping to ireland works fine. They don’t charge VAT and you pay an post on arrival in the usual way these days.
  10. Yer some stalker DJ!
  11. No offence to anyone, but based on factory schedules and shipping, etc, and the current stages of projects, stuff thats not designed yet / tooled would be at least 24 months away at the soonest, being realistic.
  12. The forthcoming batch of Genesis coaches (including the irish ones) are underway at the factory and will be delivered. You should be able to log into the hattons website still and check your preorders. Exactly how or who delivers them is subject to change but they will come.
  13. We’ll let the price be a surprise when they land
  14. Quite. Hattons did £11m last year. Something like that newspaper report wouldn’t cause any concern.
  15. To be fair to hattons they’re shutting down with great care and respect and everyone looked after. More than can be said of many companies when they get into trouble or see it coming.
  16. Small perhaps, but utterly vital
  17. Be good to know how much they are if they are that close!
  18. I’d love to but at the moment we don’t have a timeline or even a confirmed price.
  19. In terms of delivery, 2024 is scheduled to see the following delivered to customers, in no particular order: ICR Sets Bulleid Range (Flats, opens, perhaps some more) NIR Mk2b packs IRM Mk2c Packs Park Royals Murphy Models Mk2ds [Probably] Murphy Models 141/181 rerun (minimal details on the timeline just yet) Beyond that into 2025, 26, there are four Diesel Projects, Two steam, Three coach, four wagon / freight stock and some accessory projects 'actively' underway as well as some overlapping Accurascale ranges that will feature IRM elements, all of which will be revealed once they have reached an advanced point (around about when Engineering samples / prototypes (*EP's) are in hand during 2024.
  20. Fair comment however we also changed to a model of launching things much later in the development cycle to avoid disappointment over timelines and delays. We have spent more in the last 18 months on IRM tools than we have since we started 9 years ago. But no ‘promises’ will be made, froth frothed or hints alluded to in future until we are ready. It seems we’re damned if we do and if we don’t
  21. Telling you something is ‘probable’ is neither a promise nor any source of ‘disappointment’ tho how anything IRM produces could disappoint intrigues me. When we’re ready to deliver something we will announce it and then we will deliver it. We’ve never announced anything that’s not then been delivered.
  22. We have tooled the CIE 20’ containers and also the weed spray 20’ so some irm 20’, 40’ and 45’ tainers and tankers are not out of the realms of probability.
  23. Noel the ESU developed programmes were built by us from recordings made by us with ESU sound engineers onsite and developed and tweaked by us with the ESU team. They are also packed with features and functionality that are bespoke to the models. We will of course, as well as a new run of A’s as well as a whole list of powered and unpowered models to come. We might even let Noel buy one
  24. Fran keeps a Hurley under the counter
