  1. Couple of videos of the Veisseman in action on Amiens St [video=youtube;WNn-USD0WTk] Shes small but not as bad as the Bachmann tamper - which is massively underscale (even for HO)
  2. I must update that thread to add the photos of the finished kit!
  3. http://www.britanniapacific.co.uk Not strictly Irish but several can be made to work and all OO I have an NIR APT. Will find the link to the Italian brass kit maker.. Otherwise poke Glenderg. He makes a few yello bits

  5. Wow! Just absolutely perfect!
  6. She is indeed The two top sidings allow for just over 4 foot of train between buffers and points, so lots of room for shunting and loco release movements
  7. Right there with you Sir
  8. Not the best photo, but gives a feel for the branch. Mainline climbs away on the right into the tunnel, Viaduct is off scene below right. The two lines bottom right are the branch back to the mainline and the headshunt with the shed and 5 lines into the sidings and station visible... just about... More anon!
  9. Lol, dunno what it is, but if it keeps them interested, I'm all for it To be fair to him, he's a City supporter, not united
  10. In somewhat vain hopes of being 'still a work in progress' here is the latest track plan for the Cement / Quarry branch, which features a small terminus (enough room for a 141 with three cravens and a van) two loading sidings for ballast or cement, a depot, and headshunt. Son no.1 insists it gets called "Manchester"... so be it! I have the backscene in, quarry walls almost done, and 75% of thetrack down, platforms and station buildings built... now just to find a few hours to try finish it off!
  11. Looks like at certain zoom levels they disappear, but when zoomed out they look to be there.
  12. Only 14 mil? Ah shure listen!
  13. Wow!! Very cool !
  14. We should be able to share the final CAD very shortly Just reviewing it ourselves
  15. ... and the neat little IRM logo which will be underneath the NEM pocket (didn't want to upset all the underbody detailing!)
  16. A sneak look at the planned Ballast Load (not to colour or entirely correct yet )
  17. Oooh I'd love a 29k!
  18. Some beautiful shots - thanks for sharing these!
  19. The pace you are getting on with is staggering! The results are fantastic!! Well jealous
  20. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/131710522733?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&fromMakeTrack=true A nice Woolly
  21. +1 http://www.modelrailbaseboards.com From personal experience - I only regret the ones I built before I had the good sense to use Dave. You won't regret it, and it's cheaper than DIY!
  22. Dave you read my mind - was just wondering how the viaduct was going! Any close ups? Just stunning - the grass on that hill 'feels' fluffy from here!
  23. Just beautiful and highly evocative! What turntable is that? Is that bridge scratch built? Stunning!
