  1. Don't worry mate anyone wants to stir it up on my workbench I will personally delete it. I'm sick to the back teeth of this happening on threads all over the site. If you don't want to make a comment on my work then please refrain from posting here.
  2. They are Oxford transits painted and decals added by myself mate

  9. It was very good to see what they achieved in such a short time will definitely have to pay them a visit over the summer.
  10. A little video for you guys of 077 and 8113. Best watched in 360p.
  11. Well after painting over 20 of the new freight liveried 071's for a lot of you guys it was finally time to do one for myself. I went for 077 the reason was that 077 never entered service with newly painted bogies as they were swapped out at the last minute for a refurbished set which were not painted grey. So this in itself made for an interesting model all new and shiny but with weathered bogies. Also the new cabs have different rain strip above the side windows this was also added. Working closely with Railtec we have the decals just right even down to the faint grey lines in the logo. Big thanks to Steve. Also new to Ballykay this week is 8113 which had to be weathered of course. I now have 111 Great Northern, 112 Northern Counties, and 8113 Belfast & Co Down which is great as many a happy hour were spent behind them.
  12. They are made from resin or brass kits so your having to pay for someone to build and paint it. If you go for the brass option you also have the cost of a Mk3 coach to fit the kit to. Silver Fox RTR ain't a bad price for the work that goes into making one.
  13. Now that I would love to see that would really pull on the heart strings.
  14. You are joking right. Something nicer on the NIR network to model would be Whitehead, Lisburn, or Antrim stations. If you wanted a more modern station maybe the likes of Bangor, GVS, which both have bus stations included or Newry station
  15. There's no character about the place I could think of a lot nicer stations to do a model of on the NIR network
  16. Not that I'm aware of. From a passenger point of view it has to be one of the most hated stations in the country. Nowhere near the centre of the city and a cold and depressing place.
  17. They are the wrong size (length) get yourself some newer Hornby or Lima coaches
  18. If you can get an MIR 3 car brass kit for £100 I would take the guys arm and all. These kits are like hens teeth just make sure that all the bits are in the kit. One of the last runs MIR did was the class 80 with just 20X3 car kits been made.
  19. IE has a Heritage Officer on a six figure salary, whats his job?
