Rich, It is amazing what the IÉ staff will do for you if you know them ,for example my uncle works for them so all my questions are answered no matter how long I ask them and 2 years ago I got a trip around the CTC ,and shed area around Connolly ,i got a nice look around 171,186,8208 and a 29000. It's always worth asking and having no problems than intruding and having big problems

  14. Another project is to convert the 3 window Hornby Mk 3 Buffet into the Irish version Here are the unfinished results Here it is with the Mk 4/3 The gaps on The Mk 4/3 will be filled before painting

I had a thought a while ago to convert some redundant Mk 4 coaches to Mk 3's The Mk 4 is a few mm longer than the Mk 3 but that doesn't bother me too much I started by cutting the 8 windows out of the coach all in one piece I then cut out one of the square vents/windows I put the square window/vent at the opposite end of the coach and glued it in place,then I sandwiched the windows inbetween

  20. Your very welcome lads You only notice how loud and scary:ROFL: the 201's are on HEP it's very hard to stay still as it goes by ,even at a low speed
