  1. Welcome aboard roryon, you'll get plenty of help on here, and abuse, go's with the hobby, well done so far, at least you have layout,
  2. it's great to see new members coming on board as it can only benifit the hobby, and seening all the pic's and vid's is a great help, but how will these new members get to know everyone, taking heirflick's suggestion may help, but I've been to the show's in Blackrock, Clontarf, Dun Laoghaire, and Raheny, and the only people I actually spoke to from the site are wrenneire and Dave of Helix / baseboards, so what do you have to do to meet the other members, maybe I could do a demo of burning the boxes in the middle of the hall, confused:
  3. GOT TO THE SHOW ON SAT. HAD A FEW WORDS WITH WRENNEIRE, AS HE WAS DOING WHAT HE DO'S BEST, AND MET DAVE, HIM OF THE HELIX, BASEBOARDS,ETC. BUT THAT'S ALL WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE MET A FEW MORE, AS IT SEEM'S THERE WERE A GOOD NUMBER OF YOU AT THE SHOW, I ENJOYED THE SHOW ANYWAY, MAYBE NEXT TIME WE'LL ALL WEAR OUR NAME TAGS, OR SOMETHING
  4. Kirley, bloody fantastic, just totally mega, the layout is looking great, ballasting is looking perfect, keep up the good work, & keep the pic's / video's coming,
  5. I'm not a football fan, but yes, I have watched Ireland play over the years, and on so many occasions much to my disappointment. Ever since Trap " WORLD CLASS MANAGER " Delaney's words, not mine arrived I have seen Ireland lose, more times than win, ( luck ). For me, the sooner Trap, (who hasn't learnt to speak the International language yet, despite the number of years here ) Delaney, and Robbie (The Showman ) Keane go the better. I don't know if Roy would be much better, but I believe he would make a bloody good fist of it.
  6. Dave, don't you know, nobody lives in Wicklow, they just frequent it,
  7. Hi train model, the ad is gone, ebay or seller removed it, there were a number of " bids " by querious bidders, which seemed to only build up the price,
  8. Congrats, Anto, great looking layout, and the helix is the business,

  21. Hi wiggy, for a minute I was expecting Clint Eastwood to pop up on screen, tell me when you were laying the track, did you use any particular method to set the radious, like Hornby 3rd / 4th. radious, to ensure the loco's etc, don't collide on the bends, Thanks Paul
