I wonder would Ballybrophy survive the loss of the branch? It's fairly busy these days, compared to ten years ago - often have to park on the road, anyway....

And, with hardboard, it's fairly easy to curve the corners, which results in a much nicer impression of reality - no 'corners in the sky'..

A friend of mine is a bus nut and I got roped into getting this thing going again and getting it from Dover to Stafford (without a blue light). Other pineapples are available in Colbert station. This is Valerie O'Connor. This is Tara Maloney in Colbert Station. "Tara Maloney of White Dove Nurseries takes William Roche’s account of his garden as a starting point for her project of cultivating a Limerick pineapple. Replicating traditional horticultural methods, she will take a shoot and force its growth. The Limerick Pineapple will then begin the short journey from Colbert Station to the White Dove Nursery in Lucky Lane off Catherine Street where it will be nurtured to maturity over the next two years." We might need to keep an eye on this for the next two years...

The 'airbrush' is more of a mini-spraygun than an airbrush - but, there's nothing to stop you using the compressor to feed a 'real' airbrush later on.

Details of next year's exhibition have become available. - Saturday 31st of January and Sunday 1st of February - promises of 40+ layouts and a bit more canteen space - also some alterations to the parking arrangements. 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4:30 on Sunday. £9. http://www.staffordrailwaycircle.org.uk/exhibition.php Always a good do.

As much as I like the idea of the Nenagh branch, I remember getting off a Cork train at Ballybrophy once, when there was a replacement bus service for Nenagh passengers. About five people got off with me. My onward lift was a little late that day, and it became clear that there were no passengers for Nenagh at all..... I worry about the water tower, too - it is cordoned off these days and quite a bit of the concrete has spalled off.
