If you set it up, it's possible for you to vet - or to confirm or refuse - permission for others to post. Some FB pages will show a message to the effect that if you or i post something, it won't show up until or unless the mods approve it.

The name Wilson Adams rings a bell although in my present state of health/mind this might not mean much. Years ago I used to have an internet group for Irish railways which I closed down when Messenger or somebody stopped providing Group facilities. Some of the lads on here were members. Wilson Adams moniker was K9 and he was OK. I havn't a clue how he managed to become an Administrator of your Group though Tony.

Would you happen to have the link to your own facebook group for your page? Just to confirm the URLs for both groups, to rule out a re-direct to the group that Wilson is an admin of. Another question, was the group creation date is the same as yours?

Mystery Solved today........

my Facebook account was hacked so I closed the account. Wilson was offered admin privileges - obviously, FB do this?

so the first link I posted, was my link.

now it’s Wilson’s.

That is about all you can do? Not sure if you can reach out to Wilson and request to be added as an admin to the site, explain that you were the original admin for it and see if you can get anywhere.

I always try to set a password for an account using the mindset, a password that should be difficult for someone else to hack over than what is an easy password for me to remember.

I’m not really bothered about the admin of this, it’s how FB works that does. I changed every password I use only yesterday after I was notified of another Messenger hack from a FB friend.
