Anyone used Noch Water Gel

Hi, my first post. I am modelling a late 1930s pre-war German railway. Part of the scenery includes a Hitler Youth campsite with a pond/small lake. I have looked at several water effect products, I think the Noch 2K Water Gel is the one I will go for. Has anyone used this, is it as easy as the advertising makes out.

I watched a chap doing a demonstration before and when done right it looked very effective.

I hope you will post some pictures up as that I got to see. I would never have thought of incorporating that into a 1930's German layout, most people would have had a military themed layout. Looking forward to this

The water effect worked really well, I surprised at how easy it was. It did seep around the edges although I had sealed the edges as per the instructions but I think the darker sand by the water’s edge added a more realistic look.
