Some filming was done on the Lartigue a few days ago - to be aired 'later this week', apparently.

So, keep one eye on the telly.

Based on the last times they did anything with any railway content, I dread the schoolboy errors they'll have in their narratives!

The Lartigue boys were involved in a history podcast some time ago. Not enough distinction between GS&WR and GSR made, calling the GS&WR "The Great Southern" as shorthand but confusing to a non enthusiast listener if not made clear.

Not that I recall, in any case the focus of the podcast was the Lartigue, not the broad gauge which only got an incidental mention.

Waterford - Limerick, Limerick - Tralee (including Foynes & Fenit), Limerick - Killaloe (Birdhill to Ballybrophy was GSWR), and Limerick - Collooney (with running powers to Sligo).
