Some (slow) progress with my bus kits......

 

 

 

The red looks very pink in the photos, I think, but in reality it is a spot on red. Paint came with the kits. Lovely things these.  Well done Mr. Poots

Looking well Derek-the roof of the C classes were more cream than white

Thanks Noel, that was what came with the kits. (Supplied by Jim Poots). They are a bit darker in reality than the pics seem, but your one does look a lot darker. Hmmm.........

Lads, I need some advice on decals. The decal sheet that came supplied with the buses only has 4 white CIE roundels that are small enough to fit (4.5mm approx) . I think, looking at @ttc0169 Noel's C class buses that I would need 6 (2 either side and one at the front under windscreen. So I am asking - Do I need to get a second decal sheet or am I not seeing something on the decal sheet? (pictured below). If so where would I get such a thing or should I contact Jim Poots? You can do four white logos Derek-the larger white ones on the body side while the smaller white ones on the front and rear. 
The C class had different styles and colours of logos over their lifetime so I wouldn’t worry too much. 
The black CIE logo was used on the Dublin City tan coloured buses while the orange would have been used on the brown and cream CIE tours coaches.
