Ah, so that's where it's ended up! It was used during the construction of the Luas, then spent some time stored at Red Cow, and was most recently spotted in an industrial estate in Portlaoise, not far from the ICR depot.

 

How it looked previously: 

Richard Diesel Locomotive ENG-5873-13-006.

Yes, mainly as the trams were available off the shelf as standard gauge items

I remember seeing it on the Green line when it was under construction now you mention it & posted the pic in its previous livery

Anyone else think that GPX Rail sounds like an American railroad company?
