Last night the 19:00 Connolly - Belfast was +42mins late into Belfast,  anti social behaviour at Drogheda.

Unfortunately the return 21:28 from Belfast struck an animal between Dundalk and Drogheda. Eventual arrival time in Dublin was 00:40hrs.

Expect there to be a possible banger on the 10am ex Connolly… @jhb171achill

As in a Castle Class or an MED; or a 2-car 2600……?

Having reviewed the timetables today I can confirm the following when Belfast Grand Central opens:

0602/0850/1202/1450/1756/2050 and 0800/1050/1402/1650/2002 are the Belfast diagrams.

Dublin roster will be 0650/1002/1250/1556/1850.

@airfixfan so, 25/26 August for Grand Central?

I'm watching progress and updates pretty closely as I have 3 trips to Dublin from Belfast to make that week, and would rather not have to drive to Portadown each time and take the Enterprise from there--but will do in preference to taking the bus substitution!

Yes - once Dart+ starts, all trains from Rosslare and Belfast into Dublin will be HSTs; Highly Slow Trains.

What sort of lazy research is this......surely, whatever amateur clown designed this could at least put a picture of something that actually ran on this island; a Skibbereen tank engine missing a wheel would be more appropriate than an HST in a 1990s livery........

I am hearing unconfirmed reports that Grand Central won’t open until 22nd September?

the rolling initiation for hourly Enterprise services starts around the same time so it would make sense.

Looking yesterday at the Translink web-site there is a blank for Enterprise times after Aug 25, which is just a couple of weeks away!
