Delighted to pick up these two fantastic books, both written by two esteemed members of this forum!

@airfixfan’s lovely ‘The Ballycastle Railway Remembered’ - great to see such a collection of photos, many of which are new to me!  And @GNRi1959’s ‘Omagh Railway Station - A Journey Through Time’, a comprehensive history of Omagh GNR station, again with many incredible photos including my favourite which is a rare 1915 view of the GNR’s ambulance train. 
Many congrats to both Jim and Tony on these wonderful books - can’t wait to lose myself in them to escape the madness of the season!

Totally agree Patrick. I've asked Santa for Tony 's 'OMAGH RAILWAY STATION', but I'm a traditionalist, mine's wrapped and I won't open it until Christmas morning!.

Maybe when I’m done reading books about gender power in 1780s Russia I’ll get around to reading some of the books that I got free of charge at various IRRS Munster area meetings

Both excellent! Spent this afternoon looking through Ballycastle….

All monies from the Ballycastle book support the Donegal Railway Museum home of CDR voach 58 bought from the Ballycastle line in 1952.
