I love the old British Transport Films myself that are appearing more and more on youtube these days. Did CIE ever make anything similar?

Yes Trains, was on Tv in 1979 four part program.

Great video .I remember when the Mk 3s first came out, they had those horrible: plastic seats in the dinner restaurant car and had very few tables in the slandered class. thank god CIE improved on this with them.
