gm171 kk Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I was in Kildare station from 12:30 to 5:15 on Thursday with not a MK4 set in sight. I heard from a driver that 083 is the loco to get on film at the moment. It out performed 218 and 219 on the laden timbers this week . Quote
Deutschbahn Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Nice couple of shots there gm171! Lots of PWD action there! Shame about the mk4's though. From what I was told Weekdays is the worst days to see them running, although I could be wrong. Quote
RedRich Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Always enjoy the videos as it makes up for the fact that I don't have as much time as I would like to have, to get out and about like I used to. Top stuff and thanks for sharing them. Rich, Quote
DiveController Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 Well done, GM 171! Thanks for taking the time. Super shots of 219 with those timber wagons. Just what i needed. No chance of seeing them from here so really appreciate the video. Ty! Kevin Quote

gm171 kk Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 what time are you in kildare? - might be doing a run over. I'll be in Sallins between 9:30 and 12:30 for the two IWT liners and the wagon transfers. I'll head to Kildare then for the empty timber and extra IWT liner. I'll be leaving Kildare around 3:30. I have another clip of a 201 leaving Kildare to be uploaded soon and it sounds amazing. A few track machine start ups and shunts, two 071 timber runarounds, a surprise mk4 visit and an 071 hauled IWT liner I caught at Kildare. Quote
