Afternoon all,

Saturday morning was looking promising with the 0800 Heuston - Cork rumoured to be 2x4ICR, the first passenger operation of a 8 car service and the 0700 Tralee - Heuston to be 5+4ICR from Mallow to Heuston. Only the first happened as the 9ICR wouldn't couple at Mallow. Also, 077 was stabled at Portarlington with the Autoballasters.

Pictures from today are at:

- Carn

- Monastervin

- Cherryville Jct.

- Killinure

- Portarlington

You sir are a diamond! That shot explains the carrying gantry for the track panels third wagon back. Not as unbuildable as i had thought. Cheers Neil.R.

I aim to please where possible. I must go through the website and standardlise the name of the things. That picture popped up while I was searching for something else.

Earlier today 071 hauled Tamper 740 from Kildare to Portlaoise Per Way Yard.

Evening all,

One of the website contributors, KZG68 was at Connolly this afternoon to see (8)208 arriving from Inchicore with the RPSI’s 461 and BR Van 3185. 461 will be in action this weekend with a railtour to Mullingar.

Later on in the afternoon I stopped off at Carn for the 1700 Heuston – Cork (234) and 1705 Heuston – Tralee (22037). Pictures begin at http://smu.gs/1j8a8yz

Evening all,

What started out as a minor detour on the way home from work, turned out to be a cross country trek across the Irish Midlands to the west side of the River Shannon at Athlone. All to capture 077 hard at work on the delayed 1330 North Wall - Ballina IWT Liner.

Enjoy,

Good evening all,

Tuesday 25th March was a rather interesting day on the Dublin - Cork line with several unusual movements operating.

Highlights include:

- 2803 + 2804 hauling 2719 + 2721 1100 Limerick - Inchicore for further storage. This follows on from three 2700 Class transfers from Limerick to Cork over the last number of weeks.

- Track Recording Car 700 operating 0950 Mallow - Kildare.

- 088 1500 Limerick - Portlaoise PWD transfer which consisted of Rail Truck + Sperry Wagon + 11 Flats.

- 22015 on a 1355 Laois Depot - Mallow & 1555 Mallow - Heuston Trial.

Plus the usual scheduled MKIV and 22000 Class services.
