heirflick Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 well, shes not without her charm in that livery!
jhb171achill Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 I actually think she looks quite well! Next: a "G" in "supertrain"! What about that?
tonybonneyba Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 I actually think she looks quite well! Next: a "G" in "supertrain"! What about that? How about redbull?
tonybonneyba Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 "Jeep" No. 4 in redbull? Could do, aye....... What about a surban c4k?
jhb171achill Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 If my photoshopping skills were any good, I'd set up a whole album of things like that! CIE locos in GNR blue or UTA lined black, "Maedb" in grey or GNR blue, Midland six-wheelers in redbull, green goddess or tippex...... the list goes on! Many years ago, one of the "youths" at Whitehead circulated an absolutely superb mock up of 171 in NCC maroon and the UFTM's 74 (Dunluce Castle) and an NCC "Jeep" in GNR blue. You'd be surprised how well all looked!
tonybonneyba Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Not my best, I've done better...... A grand central class 4000 at Central
jhb171achill Posted March 10, 2015 Author Posted March 10, 2015 A white line above windows and you've got near enough CIE!
tonybonneyba Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 A white line above windows and you've got near enough CIE! Indeed, I never noticed that

DiveController Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 A white line above windows and you've got near enough CIE! And it still looks good!
tonybonneyba Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 A white line above windows and you've got near enough CIE! Didn't the newer CIE intercity livery not have a white line under the window?
Garfield Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Didn't the newer CIE intercity livery not have a white line under the window? That's the IR/IÉ livery.
