Picked this up at the Glasgow Show from Tony Wright who was building brass locomotives + lots of good tips from him.

It's just what I needed to ensure the chassis was in alignment, it's one of Weshty's SSM kits.

I see it now, must just have been a glitch or something. I am thinking of getting the Poppies wood tech one myself, as it would be ideal for myself as well

What kit is in it?

I used one on a visit to Tony Wrights and I was impressed. I believe they now do a longer one, a B1 chassis just fitted in the standard model so I shall buy the longer one. And a sensible price.

Thanks for the prices Harry, I could not remember how much they were. I think only a professional loco builder could justify the more sophisticated, pricey versions.

For any if ye wondering how much £25 pound for the 6 coupled and £30 for an 8 coupled

Very reasonable indeed

Certainly seems an ingenious idea, and cheap when compared with these

10-coupled engines not catered for, though - bad news for builders of 9Fs and WD 2-10-0s, as well as German classes 44/45/50/52/58/94/95, etc.

Only thing I'd be concerned about is the lack of support below - I usually build my frames using a flat surface - e.g. small plate of glass.

They seem to have a 10 coupled one now...
