Very collectable set folks, just checked some old prices and one of these sets made £360 in Feb 09 which would have been around €500+ at the time

Commands a good price still, usually in the €150 range

Personally I love this livery, looks great behind an orange 201

With its sister set L149439 and MM's Genny & Restaurant you get an 8 coach train, happy days.

IE attempted a full Continental and failed miserably. Truly awful scheme.

Collectable maybe, but not my cup of Earl Grey.

I'm with ye... ugly and not only that, rarely clean in traffic!

I remember seeing a very filthy one in Heuston - contrasting with a pristine "tippex" one next to it!

As Dave said, that livery had its own fan base. Often wondered what caused the 2009 Lima prices Dave alluded to. At least the livery matched up with the orange 201s, and given CIE ordered 32 of them, you might have suspected all the mk2 and mk3 fleet were at one time destained for that livery. The vendor is a good eBay seller with appropriate prices so I'd guess they think the set will fetch that price.
