They look stunning Stephen. I would have to agree with you regarding Eagle as I thought they looked at their best in maroon with the longer handrails.

they are beautiful!...the more i see them the more i like them! have you the maroon coaches to go with 101?

Not yet. I've a matching class 80 DMU, but need to work my way towards the maroon coaches. Right now she runs 'preserved' with RPSI stock

The maroon livery really suited these loco's,glad 102 has now been preserved in this livery,especially when it looked like she might go the way of her sister loco's at one point.
