Wanderer an amazing selection of photos, but this photo at Campile lineside I can't get over the height of the Leyland Cypress trees, who planted those trees, the adjacent land owner or Irish Rail, probably unlikely Irish Rail, the photo is very recent 28th October 2019 Regards h.gricer
DJ Dangerous
Is the line likely to be ripped up and turned into a cycleway, or pushed back into service? https://m.independent.ie/regionals/wexfordpeople/news/its-now-or-never-for-wexford-to-waterford-rail-line-40120791.html According to this video, IE had been down-grading the line in anticipation of the protection order expiring:
Mike 84C
NIce video DJ Dangerous but if Rosslare is to be developed as a freeport with increased shipping to the EU then it makes perfect sense to close as many rail links as possible as quickly as possible. Is it called joined up thinking? 1
