There was an article on the trials etc of this loco with good colour photos by John Click in Steam World in the 1990s. Trying to track this article down and can anyone help with relevant details? Thanks

The NRM in York has a full set of Click's pictures of it being built. Very detailed and very technical, but essential for anyone who really wants absolute chapter and verse on it.

You have to visit the place and get a researcher to help you - it's not online.

Thanks have that book and tracked down and got a copy of the magazine article on the Turf Burner I was looking for. Has some very good photos and details of CC1.
