  1. Yep and lots of plans ahead too
  2. Got the scrapyard walls finished and started adding bits, I have to dismantle a few of my vehicles and distress them for scrap, I also have some skips, tyres, engine blocks etc on the way. I got the PW yard under way too, plenty weathering to be done but lots of time.
  3. Brilliant pictures, the Glanmire Road shed has loads of detail that would make a great scene on a steam era layout.
  4. Got some more ground cover done Also started on the permanent way yard And the dodgy scrapyard I will finish the mass concrete walls tomorrow.
  5. Picked up this lot in town today, all Oxford diecast and will be either scrapped in the scrapyard to be or swapped with another already on the layout.

  9. He was some kind of tradesman that became a local councillor in Knockseo, he turned the first sod for the bridge and broke the shovel, he is in a home now
  10. Ya we won't be going back, the breakfast was good service but the dinner was a different planet, booked for 6.45pm got my dessert at 9.30, never again.

  13. Ballasting is very therapeutic Derek Lovely job on the tunnel, it's a great addition to the layout.
  14. I could but I would have to create another road bridge, there is no access unless I make a false access road from the fascia board? What would I put in that yard? Would it be a road type surface or gravel? Good idea by the way.
  15. I need a little help here, I have a spare piece of ground and I don't know what to do with it, I could grass it or stone it but I think I have enough of both, any ideas or pointers lads?

  23. Set up a few scenes today just for a taste, an RPSI tour arrived at Knockseo this afternoon and also some passenger traffic joined it at the opposite platform, the goods yard was getting busy too, enjoy.
