  1. I'm planning my next layout and looking forward to starting it just as soon as I have my first one completed, it's going to be based on Limerick Junction as I grew up there and my dad was a signal man in the south cabin. I wonder would any of you master craftsmen would have a plan of the station or know someone who has? I don't want the current plan, I would prefer the 1980/90 one. Thanks in advance. Denis
  2. It's a tough job, that blue sky is very appealing though.
  3. This is getting too long and drawn out methinks
  4. See I have to disagree with you there, a bike battery costs less than a car battery, etc etc, I have both, technology is rapidly changing and DCC will too.
  5. Yes I really don't understand why sound chips are so expensive, a techy friend of mine who is in the radio business reckons that he can make a sound chip for about €30, research is ongoing.
  6. Oops sorry Fran, it took me ages to get the photos to work I completely forgot about prices, I will sort it as soon as I get home, Denis
  7. I have various br locos that I don't need anymore, I will offer them here only and if nobody wants them then they go in the drawer. I am still a rookie so I trust your judgement lads, some are DCC fitted, some DCC ready and some DC. Have a look and see if anything is of interest, thanks. €125 new €45 €40 DCC sound fitted €100 €45 €45 €45 €35 €45 €40 €25 each
  8. Definitely the golden era, I love it.
  9. Waterslide (New wagons purchased a few years ago, I was just experimenting with the logo first, colouring and weathering is a future exercise.)
  10. It opens for me Jonathan, they're a lovely set.
  11. Looking for old CIE stock for my layout, wagons, coaches, containers, vehicles, locomotives etc, any condition, planning a works yard too, broken wheel era preferably. Thanks for looking. Denis
