  1. Dublin Bus (Conygham Road) RV 394 (98 D 20394) outside the container yard at Heuston North. Twenty years to the day today it launched in the cinemas, it's carrying an ad for an (unmemorable!) Jude Law film, 'Alfie'!
  2. Indirectly related to railways, l am looking to source information around the Bus Routes for Cork City during the 1970's. If anyone has knowledge of the Routes, has photos from this era during the 1970's or knows anyone that could help, would be great if you could let me know. Cheers. Rob.
  3. Evenings are drawing in- darkness with the shorter days at Heuston North.
  4. Just wondering, will you have enough items to go in those new cases???
  5. Great work- amazing display
  6. Look at what you HAVE done to date- despite saying 'absolutely nothing has happened', based on the videos and photos, there has been decent progress to be fair. Given the work you've done to date, l'd personally be reluctant to 'get rid' of it but work around it. Take this as 'Day Zero'- where do you want to go from here- what do you want to do overall and what is the next logical step to get there? It will take time to get there but would be worth it- l was lucky to be completing Heuston North layout during lockdown so learnt there is no rush. You are a long way along than a lot!
  7. Great pics @MOGUL! Are the pockets back then? Sorry if l missed this!
  8. Credit to John Carrick on Facebook for the attached photo- Pocket Wagons leaving North Wall today- haven't seen these in action in a long time?
  9. Looks great
  10. Dublin Bus (Conyngham Road) RV 334 (97-D-334) passing Heuston North, sporting an ad for Madonna's concert held at Slane Castle twenty years ago to the day. I'm sure many here were at it .
  11. Excellent stuff- well done
  12. Impressive
  13. Great video- lots of detail! Really excellent work
  14. Looks brilliant
  15. Yes- excellent work. Love the details everywhere and the brother does a great job with the photos too
  16. Good spot! Pricey- but l've seen worse asking prices in recent times....
  17. Looks fantastic- excellent work
  18. Well done- now the fun part can start!!!
  19. Avoid ballast that is quite light in colour as even though it may look like the real life version above in Ballybrophy, it can end up looking like white snow!! I mixed some darker colours with it to temper that 'snow' effect in Heuston North if that helps. Best of luck and look forward to the photos
  20. Sounds good
  21. Any idea of where you might pick up Wing Mirrors for 1:76 Dublin Bus models? Cheers
  22. A very big family !
