  1. Airfix 1/600 HMS Hood model kit for a nice change of pace. Maybe I'm looking at this through the eyes of the 12 year old I was making the last kit I got from Airfix but I don't remember the being such issues with fitment as you can see. Here are some pictures of the progress so far. Your thoughts and comments are as always appreciated.
  2. Guilty as charged
  3. Absolutely, it really adds to the personal touch of a layout. Glad your enjoying the progress
  4. In the latest update I have spent the last while working on a number of scratch built cottages which face onto the road which will run the rear of the layout. The is still more details to add before painting. Also the view on the last picture, I plan to cut the backscene to allow viewing up along the street with the chance to see some train movements in the background toward the bridge. Your thoughts as always are appreciated. Chris.

  22. One of the strippers I use does state that it can be used on resin however I have never used it on such a surface. I'll include a link for you to make your own determination. https://eirehobbies.com/products/paint-remover-240-ml?_pos=1&_sid=53296aa35&_ss=r

  24. I'll try go back and find the article for you @DJ Dangerous. But just to clarify my position, I think technology like this would be of more benefit as like I have stated we would be converting various vehicles already in existence environmentally.
  25. I'm not saying hydrogen is the answer but I think in this age we can create a fuel to use in a combustion engine that would produce zero emissions, using vehicles already in existence without spending six times more emissions to build an EV, hybrid waste of time
