  1. Evening only 80 odd of the A3r left this evening already... Im afraid the last of my toy train budget for the year has gone on acquiring a near mint condition B&T 141/181 ( facilitated thru the good offices of a fellow forum member - thank you!) - as much as I want to support the ITG - I wont be in the market until the new year....I've already got the A39 so I hope anybody who wanted a B&T A class should take the opportunity and support a vital organisation into the bargain. lastly Just a quick word to compliment the IRM lads on the quality of the packaging for the A Class and the care and attention - its these little details that matter - you're a setting a very high standard here - fair play to ye. In fact the packaging is so good that I picked up this weeks Darwin award after being stumped half way into unpacking A12 and I couldn't work out how to open the inner plastic packaging....until herself pointed out " there's an extra plastic sleeve there...are ye blind or wha......."..............yeh its time for my next specsavers appointment! Ed

    new murphys products

Given the build up ....this better be good .......or there will be a love Island level backlash here....
  9. Brilliant stuff Fergal - you are flying it - looking forward to seeing it in the flesh Ed
  10. Best of luck Jon - i'll definitely be getting the book. The brother , inconsiderate git that he is, is getting married on the 17th in Kildare.....i'll see if i can sneak off early doors on the 18th and take the scenic route home via Maam cross!
  11. Love it JHB.....the whole turntable piece is particularly arresting...just eeks of the atmosphere of a long gone era.
  12. Getting better and better ...all yer missing is the lovely overhanging misty clingy rain that hangs around for days here in the mid west!
  13. In fairness I did note that and I do consider it excessive alright - it does put it out of the reach of most Irish modellers - bleedin Brexit again.
  14. In fairness 00Works are about the only gig in town for RTR Irish Steam these days.................they produce tiny runs of Irish Steam -the price asked is about the average for them......when you consider these factors - its alright I've have 2 lovely J15s from 00works a couple of years back.............if her indoors knew what I had paid for them.............carnage. Now if IRM decide to do Irish Steam......... Its better value than the 370 quid and rising asking price for 141/181s on ebay at the moment..........
  15. The 2 black A's were the first two I ordered waay back in 2018?/early 2019 Delighted the run is selling so well

    Class 121

Afternoon all a couple of questions for those people here who know "people"! whats the latest score with the 121 Sales?..... roughly what percentage of the run is sold any idea whats left and what is sold out completely? - I see the Black and Tan B125 and B131 are sold out all over stocklists websites - interesting that given we're told many times its a bit "old" - see the same with "A" Class on IRM ... is just the livery that looks great! Just asking for a friend ..... who left it a bit late to get a B131 ......on pre-order with Hattons now....will they get it into stock?
  19. Ah here now......this is getting a bit sleazy Whens the top comin off...boom boom!
  20. Love it Rob - more power to your elbow!....i've spent 4 months procrastinating over what type of point motors to use on mine.....time to get a move on!
