  1. wtf is that? Is it from NZ?, narrow gauge, silly central buffer. Personally I'd like to see Merlin (& co) produced
  2. whats "eau-de-nil", is this the colour of the light green logo / number & lining?
  3. Considered going to this, this year but 3-3.5 hours each way from New Pymouth it's just a little too much to ask. Looks like it was a good day out for you anyway
  4. Ah yes, the Taras.
  5. Is there a 4th announcement? or was that the little rail tractor thing I'd love some Dutch vans, just sayin.
  6. Stunning. Another excellent addition to the fleet.
  7. well excuse me for not reading every single thread on this forum
  8. Jesus dude, calm down. what mk2d update are you referring to? The opening post? Just part of the rumour, until confirmed its not news, any more than 141s are.
  9. Ahead, behind, whatever. My point was simply that MM have announced mk2s, mk3, 201s and now 141s. The first three have been announced a long long while yet nothing has appeared. The 201 and mk2d schedule was late last year / early this and no updates at all since that was missed. http://www.murphymodels.com/index.html Can you understand why I would be sceptical? None, but I'm not a manufacturer now am I. If they are actually manufactured great, just on past history I am not going to hold my breath about seeing released models anytime in the next few years, especially based on nothing (so far) but random rumours on a website, when their own website hasn't been updated in a long time.
  10. add it to the queue behind all the other promised stuff I suppose...
  11. I'm going to assum C class given the similarities to the A but would really prefer B and especially Hunslet. My resin self build hunslet is very average tbh Please please please Ammonia and barrier wagons
  12. Well I assumed actual Irish stuff and Murphy already has the mk2 covered. Looks nice but this will be a miss from me, no resonation with NIR coaches like these unfortunately. Good stuff though guys, keep it coming.
  13. mk3's or ideally B class
  14. i havent opted in and its showing my location...

  16. lucky you mayner, customs got their claws into mine, no release date as yet
  17. never mind own power, that would be a good option these days with air fright being obscenely expensive and sea being slow https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yiwu–London_railway_line
  18. ? And? My point was normally there are months of notice for upcoming IRM stuff, thats all.
  19. hmmm, take note IRM! whatever is the next thing in the post do not send before asking me about adding these!!! kept them quiet
  20. Got mine in NZ today
  21. Does that mean you are aware of any more plans for mk2s? There were supposed to be more, weren't there?
  22. good on you for stocking these. Have just pre-ordered and cancelled from Hattons. Will continue to support IRM in preference where I can given all the great work they've done for the Irish scene in the last couple of years.
  23. I commend you for doing this and they look really nice and I honestly hope it works out!! Personally they're not a key interest area for me and being outside that combined with the price (which I totally understand for a limited run of very high quality product) I'm afraid I couldn't justify the spend given there are so many other up coming items I have a more direct interest in. Maybe if the interest is there for larger runs and the pricing comes down somewhat I could go for the CIE 10T opens as they are of minor interest. Best of luck with this project, done the survey to try and reflect how I feel above, saying I would have a degree of interest in the 10t, hopefully it helps a bit at least.
  24. In reality though mayner you need to be unlucky to get pinged for GST in NZ. None of my railway purchases have ever been stopped by customs to add the tax, and most were well over the $400 Mark. The declaration on the box usually gives a lower value regardless of what store has supplied it. It's easy to get around.
  25. how exactly does a loco end up looking like that? is it just the black peeling off?
