  1. It doesn't take a genius to work out who said that, only reason they said they forgot their login details, it was their name. IRM is going from strength to strength, just look at the amount of new members we have.
  2. A quick video taken yesterdayhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKr6pLHNBB4
  3. Stunning work, great job:tumbsup: Love that 071
  4. For me it's Irish late 70's to 90's
  5. Just had quick look, looks good. Its the way forward for controlling points, the labour involved in analogue with LED point indication is huge.
  6. Nice
  7. Looking good Bosko! Is that JMRI?

    Hello

    Welcome Bman!
  9. Get one of these http://www.ebay.ie/itm/130928385760?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I have two, they don't burn through tips. 30 watt great for what you want to do. I have used mine all day every day for a week and no problems. All for less than a tenner!
  10. Nice work Chevron, remember there is no such thing as a silly question if you don't know the answer!
  11. Hi Chevron, get the Peco Electrofrog points as they are much better for DCC running
  12. Also try Metcalfe card kits and http://www.modelrailwayscenery.com/ http://www.railwayscenics.com/4mm-ft-oo-scale-model-kits-c-70_74.html?osCsid=fc1cc765766e48fe22b93265f55583c3 http://www.scenerybuilder.com/ http://www.truetexture.co.uk/
  13. Stunning work Phil, an area I would like to get into. Looking forward to seeing your layout progress. Best of luck with the move

  17. Lovely work Wiggy
  18. Excellent, there is so much to look at in each photo. You have done a great job on bringing your layout to life.
  19. No worries
  20. Drop out and see me at the next show, I'm in Abbeyleix this Sunday at a model railway exhibition and in Bray on the 22nd. The beauty about modular baseboards they are engineered to very tight tolerances with a very flat level top.
  21. Hi Chevron, I started with Hornby track, but it can be a false economy. I have scrapped it all in favour of Peco track. Hattons are very good on price for points and track, http://www.ehattons.com I manufacture modular baseboards at very competitive prices, a 4' x 4' baseboard with 4 legs works out at €160, you can also add baseboards to it as your layout grows.
  22. Don't bother contacting through the website as I sent an enquiry months ago, never got an answer. It's also €400 a year for membership!
  23. Hi Chevron, welcome to the forum. Sorry I can't help you on their location. Good luck with your layout and post pics of your progress
  24. Model rail Baseboards will be there, come over and say helo:tumbsup:
  25. Wiggy, what signals are you using. they look the biz! As well as everything else of course!
