Sorry troops I was watching the program, not taking notes Welsh, it all sounds the same to me....

Watched it myself George Best bit of railway related TV I have seen in ages Ffestiniog, the work put in, especially the bit of tunneling was incredible. Weekends spent working on this line must have been fantastic. Have seen the line in the flesh and its a tribute to these far seeing people, it was the first preserved railway in the world and loads of the work done by volunteers with picks and shovels, incredible! The story about Rev Teddy Boston was also great, built his own railway in the church grounds! If you ever get a chance to see this watch it, as George says it puts that tripe that RTE produced to shame.

A good " hit and miss " after about 12 pints of plain would sort out that ice, no problemo!

So how does the D&M genny fit into the rake lads Is it able to couple correctly? Not mad about the SF Mk 3 genny

Whats the problem, Noel Surely if they are all made by D&M they will operate together?

Will they be available in the older and newer liveries?

Picked up these at the Stillorgan gig Not train related but just shows what is out there A pair of Triumph Garda figures by Britains. Never released as a mainstream product but a small amount, believed to be around 50 were commissioned by the Triumph agents in Ireland in the early 70's when Triumph triumphed with the order to provide their motorcycles to the Gardai They differ from the "Police Patrolman on Triumph" model in that the bike colour is a darker shade, the shirt & tie is also blue as compared to white on the Police one The bike also has leg defenders fitted which did not appear on any other Britains Police model.

These are available at any of the fairs I do with Chris Dyer RRP £165 or €200 depending on the rate However liveries and running numbers are limited to whats available on the day S/F will not have any new Irish outline bits till Feb at the earliest and then it depends on what he has produced, not what you want Looking at the Box for the A that sold its for A7 in Black/Orange/White livery so I reckon there are some more bits to come from this seller An L149439-1 set that this seller had listed was sold to an American friend of the forum for €103. A bargain compared to what this set made 3 years ago!

Darstead produced Tin Plate coarse scale models back in the day They have had a reinvention in the last couple of years and although they stated they were staying true to the old companys values their new range of locos looks stunning, very detailed for coarse scale Theit coaches still have the tin plate "toy" look but their new wagon range looks impressive Couple of UK based agents so it may be available a bit cheaper from the UK, at least the postage would be half or so.
