Richie
Its true
I was talking to "an employee" this evening and he showed me some pics on his phone
Also mentioned that the complete 071 fleet was being overhauled as we speak, had some pics of the work in progress
All going into Freight livery
The words "Eddie Stobart" were whispered
And I'm not buying pints!
Managed to get this pic today
PC still acting the goat
The pic shows the Marks Model set, they removed the traffo and track and sold the set boxed with lable attached
The second set is the sealed in plastic version for sad bastards..................
**Hope you can find space for a mention!

Meeting a chap next Weds who has 6 for sale, not sure of numbers at the moment but they are boxed and unused according to him
They were displayed with an N class on a shelf.
I will keep you posted
Any particular numbers or coach type you are looking for?
Bang on K
PC is bushwhacked at the moment, cannot post any pics but its still wrapped in its plastic, same as Fitz
Also have one that Marks sold, it has a sticker on the front saying the traffo has been removed
I will hopefully post a few pics soon
Had a row once with a UK seller about postage
He lived 12 miles from his local PO. had to feed the parking meter and also the cost of the packaging
I bought the item anyway but lashed him out of it on his feedback
What about these parcel banks all around the country, are they any cheaper?
Yep
Paper CIE roundel that is just gummed to both ends of the loco
Another eBayer has jumped on the band wagon and offered his Hymek at a £100 start,
EBay Canada had some Irish bits recently and a Cl 33 A Class by Murphys made €132
Although made a lot more recently than the Hymek the MM A class had only 300 models made and the Hymek would have had at least 1500, as I read somewhere that they had to do at least 1500 back in the day?
So what does this make the Slainte Express set worth?
Managed to hold on to a couple,
If Carlsberg made Sulzers.........
This one was wresteled from me for an O gauge A Class and some MIR wagons, a trade I did not do lightly.
MTK are now part of the Phoenix Precision Paint group. They also have No Nonsense Kits who I think took over MTK at one stage
As Kirley says they are out of scale and also a pig of a kit to work with
