Darstead produced Tin Plate coarse scale models back in the day They have had a reinvention in the last couple of years and although they stated they were staying true to the old companys values their new range of locos looks stunning, very detailed for coarse scale Theit coaches still have the tin plate "toy" look but their new wagon range looks impressive Couple of UK based agents so it may be available a bit cheaper from the UK, at least the postage would be half or so.

Almost Originally Paddy Murphy had them produced to run with the N Class's Originally came in the Bachmann Branchline blue box Bachmann US then produced the "Irish Railway" OO/HO Set #00651 The Silver Series coaches were brought later to compliment this set 2 Coaches only 74700 CIE 3rd #1337 74701 CIE Brake End #1088

  15. It was over 12 months before Paddys next release Feb 05 saw the "Y" Class NCC Jintys on the shelves 32-225Y #18 32-225Z #19 Only 250 0f each model produced which would make these the rarest of all the Irish RTR models.

I watched the end of this auction, a couple of bids were retracted and there was one bidder in particular who bid first on the set and retracted last He also bid on another item this seller had listed The second bid retraction was from a bidder that I have seen retract on Irish items in the past Puts a huge bid in to see what the highest bid is and if its too much he retracts, complains about postage being too high etc. Where are the eBay Polis when you want them?
