She does look very good in black. You've got to love Staniers, he came up with some beautiful designs. I have a maroon City of Lancaster myself, would fancy a black one too. I have no idea to be honest mate, I have little interest in the whole thing. Anthony does have a point when he talks about animal cruelty as well though, as you do too. Animal cruelty, complete disregard for road safety and the safety of themselves and others, failure to stop. Punishments need to be far greater for such carry on.

Looks like they'll be making the money up in prices, €169.99 for a Hornby 31? No chance. They should get in some Bachmann and Murphy stuff if they want to compete with the big retailers here and in the UK. Best of luck to them all the same, it's a tough time to be running a business out there.

Good one John, I must admit I like the yellow and green livery of the MKT, I'm not sure where UP got the red from, but it really looks good to me. Nothing wrong with a little experimenting with dark forces! Me too mate, even down to the way 'The Katy' is splashed across the side! I'll have to bring the two of them down to Brendan, stand them side by side and see what you think!
