Hi everyone, Wee update; China is ploughing (aha!) ahead with production and we hope to have them before Chinese New Year kicks off in a couple of weeks time. So, they could be delivered within the next month, or 3 months time. Fingers crossed it's the former, and we will keep you up to date as per usual. Cheers! Fran

Cheers lads, appreciate your faith and support of us!

Hi everyone, We are up for a few categories in the BRM 'Model of the year' this year, with the Tara Mines in the OO Wagon of the year category along with our Accurascale BR Coal hopper, and we are also in for the OO Manufacturer of the Year category. It would be great if you could give us your vote in their poll! http://www.rmweb.co.uk/poll/index.php?sid=35836&lang=en Cheers! Fran

Have the grey 121 badge, it's cool!

Just pulled some photos together from over the past year, a lot more has been happening than I even remember! And this isn't even including all the Accurascale stuff! 2019 is going to be nuts!

Happy new year one and all and here's to an action packed 2019 for IRM. Thanks to all members of the forum and all our customers for your support during the past 12 months! Cheers, Fran

Hi everyone, Just a quick heads up, we are now sold out of orange pack E of our cement bubbles, and at the time of writing only have 15 packs of pack F left in stock, so down to to the bare bones of cement bubbles. Don't miss out! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/cement-bubbles Cheers, Fran

Can we keep behaviour on the forum civil towards other members please? It's Christmas and mods would rather spend time with family than babysit big children on here and start dishing out bans. Thanks.

It’s the season of goodwill to all men, women and our fluid friends, so let’s keep that in mind please! Happy Chrimbo to one and all and thanks for your support to IRM over the past year! Cheers! Fran

Thanks everyone, just something small to show our appreciation for all your support and custom over the past year! Have a great Christmas and a very happy new year! Cheers! Fran

We certainly wont rule it out, we have a lot to get out there first of course with all the 42ft stuff, A Class etc but we will likely do another announcement programme in the Spring to outline what we have coming up after they're all out of the way. Hopefully this time the snow doesnt scupper it! Cheers, Fran

Our Technical Director decided to celebrate his birthday (Happy Birthday Richie!) by weathering some of our Tara Mines wagons, and how spectacular do they look? The dirt elevates them even higher! Richie used gouache wash and weathering powders to finish.

Hi Noel, Great build and info and thanks for sharing with the group. However, we would kindly ask you in future to refrain adding the conjecture above to the rumor mill about the forthcoming 121. Saying ‘if such ever exists’ is a baseless statement that does not serve the manufacturer or indeed the hobby in the right manner and we are uncomfortable having such statements made on here. Many thanks for your understanding in this matter, Fran

Down to our last 25% of stock on these already. Thank you to everyone for your custom, our fastest moving model yet!

It' be the same colour above and below the band, it's just the render.

Between packing more orders (we can barely keep up atm, lots of new orders have come in with people adding to their rakes!) I managed to get some pics of each set. As per usual, we have done lots of individualism on the deco, all per the real wagons of course! Pack A Pack B Pack C Pack D Pack E. Get them while you can! https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/tara-mines

Well we tooled the correct lid for them, and we have a couple of SuperTrain A's on the way in the not too distant future.... We're coming up on 70% sell out on these beauties already, and we're doing our best to keep up with demand. Thanks to everyone for the support! Cheers, Fran

They're here! Tara Mines Now in Stock!! The wait is finally over, after a long and perilous journey from China, the Tara Mines wagons are now in stock and how good do they look? A perfect companion for your 071 or our forthcoming A! The first tranche of orders left our warehouse today, with another huge amount to get through tomorrow! Here are some close ups, and with over half the production run already sold we cant see them sticking around for long. Don't miss out, order yours today! Thanks to everyone for your patience in waiting for these. It's been one hell of an ordeal, but we're delighted to finally have them here and making their way to you all! Cheers, Fran

Haha you’re right, 018 is above, I blame Warley!
-
Hi everyone, Sorry to have neglected this guide to our A class variants, but with Warley etc it's been very a very busy period for us. Anyway, today is 018 in Supertrain, Staff snatchers; no CAWS; original windscreens 018 will be in the same condition as 004 above, with original windscreens and snatcher equipment in the iconic SuperTrain livery. 018 entered CIE traffic in January 1956, was rebuilt in Inchicore in November 1970 and was withdrawn in September 1993. If 018 is the A for you, you can place your order here: https://irishrailwaymodels.com/collections/a-class-locomotive/products/018-a-class-locomotive Cheers, Fran
