So I would have thought at least the 2983 because I hadn't achieved silver at that stage. That only happened after the migration to Accurascale. But then after that I don't know. It depends if the tier points are supposed to follow the rewards points or if they are completely separate. It would be much more transparent if the spend was itemised so you could see how and when you accrued your status points. The "award" points are itemised, so you can see them accumulating and being cashed in for discount codes, but there's nothing similar for status, it's just a "loading progress bar" display with no further details. Looking back at the forum it seems other had issues with tier points not being migrated properly. Can anyone confirm that partially payments were correctly tracked for the purpose of status and award points?

This is what my account looks like: And here is my current status and how many status spend I have accumulated 2115 (is it really GBP for EU customers or is that a display error?): When I look at that and think about my spend I can't fathom how it's only 2k (even in GBP). I think something went wrong somewhere in my case but that assumes that the assumption that cashing in points for discount codes should not reduce the "status points/spend". I never bought anything from AS, only IRM and then Irish stuff from AS after the migration so there were no points to "merge", just a straight import in my case. I have a feeling I lost status points on my partially payments before the actual migration, like they weren't counted or something.

Hi guys, My tier points are showing at 2,115.49 / 7,500 (next status level Gold with 7,500GBP total spend) but I have spent way more than 2155GBP down the years with IRM alone so I'm not sure how the system actually works. Do those old IRM points not count towards status on Accurascale? Or are the status points the same points as the "award points"? That is, if I create a voucher using "award points", do my status points drop? That would explain my status points being lower than expected. So if I want to achieve gold status, do I need to refrain from creating coupons? I assumed it worked like many airline loyalty programmes with "award miles" and "tier miles" being separate entities but perhaps they are not and that was an incorrect assumption on my part. Anyone know exactly how the loyalty system works? Edit: I used Partially a few times if that makes any difference. Further edit: Even if I add up all the positive points in my points statement, it is 4963 but it says I only spent the 2155 so I am really confused if the "tier points" are the same points as the "award points" and they are not reduced when creating a discount code.

I don't need to merge orders thanks. It's fine by me if they are shipped separately but how do I actually pay for them? Neither order has a "pay now" button. I have options to download invoicem track order and request return but I see no "pay now" option anywhere, either for the Park Royals or the Hunslets.
-
Are these in stock already? My shop account is saying that payment is due but I didn't get an email. Are they being shipped with the Park Royals? Payment isn't due on those for another few days though.

21mm gauge wheel sets for IRM Park Royals and Mark IIs
murphaph replied to lucas's topic in Irish Models
I used a cheap version of the Fohrmann puller to do the Tara's etc. I think it was called a RC model gear puller or something like that. I haven't tried it on the coaching stock. -
21mm gauge wheel sets for IRM Park Royals and Mark IIs
murphaph replied to lucas's topic in Irish Models
Is it not possible to just push the wheels out like other IRM bogie stock? I never really looked closely at the Mk2 bogies. Just assumed they could be pushed out like the 42' flats etc. -
That played with 085 going for 600GBP in the end is just madness. The buy it now price on the 111 is actually "reasonable" compared to it!
-
Currently at 380GBP this "play worn" 085. That really is silly money for a loco that isn't even in BNIB condition: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/147282572613 085 was the first 071 I was able to get my hands on when I got back into the hobby. It was still available years after release, brand new from Mark's Models. Now they are highly sought after with silly price tags!

OBB HOe layout "Connafeld"

Brilliant George! Well deserved. I hope to see it someday in person. -
Nobody wants a 21mm.....horse

Glad he was genuine. Enjoy your purchases folks

The only Heljan stuff I have are the IRM tank wagons and they certainly look the part. I never realised they were so vilified tbh.
-
To be honest I would expect the crowd here to "get it", even if many on RmWeb don't. IRM was obviously a product of the internet itself. How many model shops existed in Ireland when the ballast was produced? Maybe ten premises on the whole island, if even that? Buying "from your local model shop" was never really an option for most of Ireland. Small Irish towns and cities never had model shops. You had a long way to go to reach one, even if you lived in Dublin it was a trek into town to the Modeller's Den or whatever. Most of them in the cities were long gone by the time IRM set up shop(ify). It was always going to be predominantly online or not at all really.
-
That IRM-Heljan co-branding thing escalated quickly lol. Nevermind that O Gauge 121, when are you doing them in TT? In all seriousness, good luck with the new venture

Has anyone sent him any money?

Love the two tone horn. Something a bit different on an Irish layout.

Agreed. Fabulous skills.

That's bizarre that an experienced factory would balls the packaging up like that, though it's not tven the first time we've seen it. The 121s also came in some well intentioned but poorly executed foam cushioning that caused them to be shunted out the side. The 201s also managed to get propelled through the ends of their blisters fairly often. The models are only as good as the packaging they are shipped in at the end of the day. Poor show. Obviously the emergency brake had to be pulled on these for the moment. Thanks for the update. They look lovely in the close up.

I'm really bending rule one to justify these but I don't think I'm going to be disappointed

I hope it's all above board and nobody has been infected with anything but be aware of the increasing use of AI to create personalised scams. AI can harvest information from anywhere you have been online and even trick you into thinking you know the sender. I'd almost be surprised if forums weren't a target for such AI generated scams. Hopefully nothing in it this time but be careful out there folks and it's almost never a good idea to open an attachment from someone you don't know.

It was probably a virus attachment he was offering to send people when they PM'd him. That's why I asked him to just post a list up. I think the mods took the safe option and removed the thread.

Condolences to Paddy's family and friends. Not many people leave behind such a legacy. RIP Paddy.

Accurascale redirects to accurascale.at. Is this correct?
murphaph replied to murphaph's topic in Site News & Help
Nope, no VPN active. Regional German ISP with no Austrian presence too. It would be nice to see the correct prices while browsing all the same. The weird thing is if I click on SHOP above, it goes to accurascale.com, then redirects to accurascale.at but a cookie has obviously been set as down below it says I am in Germany on the drop down but it looks like the prices are Irish. -
If I go to the https://www.accurascale.com website and then change my location to Germany, the website reloads to https://www.accurascale.at/. Is this now the expected behaviour? Is the VAT correct for me in Germany linke this? Edit: It's a bit all over the shop once you start clicking around. I clicked on the palvan blog entry on the austrian website, and then clicked on the "order yours now" at the bottom of that post and it dumped me out at https://www.accurascale.ie with Irish VAT (the nice round Irish Euro prices are a dead giveaway). These prices are obviously wrong for me in Germany with our 19% VAT rate.
