177+129 work a Limerick cement factory-Tullamore bogie bulk train-watch as they go through the process of running around the train at Tara junction. 220 works a short Mk2 a/b set through the station forming a Dublin Heuston-Athlone service, 160 hauling a single BR GSV and a TPO forms a Dublin Connolly-Cork service

37 261 has worked the inspection saloon into the factory sidings on Ashburton grove-the engineers annual visit to inspect the location.

Retro liveried locomotive 071 works the Waterford-Lakeview freight yard empty timber train through Tara junction station-and after arrival there the locomotive was uncoupled and went to the MPD for servicing, The freight yard pilot locomotive 143 then shunted the train into position for loading.

10-15 high powered locomotives would be required for Irish operations, The 071s will be withdrawn in 3-5 years so unless IE do a class 69 job on the 201s-there won’t be any other options in the short term.

Low floor container wagons I’m told-but yes DJ-no mention of any future motive power….which is badly needed at this stage.
