  1. A big favourite most of the day was the superb Copenhagen fields layout. Hatton's genesis coaches were on display as were the ICRs on the Accurascale stand.

  3. 132+121 work the two axle magnesite wagons from Kingscourt to Limerick
  4. Thanks to Derek Farrelly-these two beauties are now working around the streets on Tara junction. Superb models.

  7. As DJ has said they are from the EFE range of trucks,repainted into the black and white livery of CIE road freight services-a particular favourite of mine on the layout.
  8. We can go three miles in the Galway direction and five miles in the Clifden direction subject to acquiring more track panels.

Enterprise locomotive 230 hauling a Mk2 a/b set working a Galway-Dublin Heuston service NIR locomotive 208 works a Northwall-Belfast BELL liner, 080 works a Waterford-Northwall BELL liner 056 works the Cork-Dublin Connolly mail train, 086 works a Tralee-Dublin Heuston service. — at Tara Junction Station Passenger,mail and freight operation on Tara junction.
  10. Six more track panels were laid yesterday by volunteers extending the line further towards the Oughterard/Galway direction.

  13. 47535 works a short Mk3 push pull set comprising of two Mk3s and a Mk2 DBSO from Edinburgh Haymarket depot to Doncaster works for attention.

  15. A daytime path was created for the APT test running….now sporting a CIE roundel on the front and rear driving trailers.

The year is 1986 and CIE have been given an APT by British rail for evaluation purposes… Having being regauged at Crewe works it was shipped over to Inchicore for trials to begin on Tara junction Here we see locomotive 087 hauling set 370 001 on a gauge clearance movement prior to the nighttime trials to begin…

  18. The recently successful and enjoyable RPSI rail tour-the Liffey / Leesider is recreated here as we see locomotive 083 hauling the empty Cravens set from Inchicore to Connolly.
