  1. With the timber loading business busy as ever one of the contractors has purchased a new truck and trailer, Here we see it shortly after arrival at the Lakeview timber loading area of the freight yard.

  3. A speedy delivery from IRM-(thanks lads)-sees the Komatsu excavator en route to its new home at the Riverside permanent way depot.

  5. Yes-bear in mind that 9’6’’ containers are only carried on the 47’ bogie wagons with tanks,40’ and 20’ containers generally carried on the 42’ wagons, See attached photos from Athlone station with your locomotive 078 arriving taken in January 2021.
  6. Currently stored in North wall (7) and Waterford (5) with some more wagons in long term storage in Limerick (12). Some of the North wall and Waterford wagons may be restored to traffic in the near future.

  13. Two more additions to the CIE Fleet on Tara junction. It started here on a work bench with a long and short C class....and ended here with two completed models. The short C class has a modified roof dome.

  18. A good friend of mine who is not on the forum has contacted me and says the first photo is Ballina, and the third photo is what is now known as the Crossmolina road siding formally the Killala line beside the show grounds in Ballina-the bus eireann garage would be on the right today.
