  1. Two unpleasant characters one of which had some nasty things to say about IRM and MM. I will say that the Enterprise stock did look good but as Ed has said they were plagued with running problems. The steam loco was all hard talk and no follow through in the end.
  2. Excellent men, they will look great with a class 50. Good times ahead. Rich
  3. These will be epic. Glad I held onto the MM Bachmann sets now. Rich,
  4. These are the most logical choice as the next powered models. Three different choices in rakes to suit everyone. They are the current, contemporary and numerous main passenger sets on the network. Having travelled on them since they were introduced into service I have gotten to like them especially since they sorted out the stink in the jacks. Always felt a little like chief Brody chumming in Jaws when I had to use them. I pass Plunkett twice a week so there is always a set in the platform bay and a set parked in Sallypark Really looking forward to them Rich,
  5. The keg liners make for interesting trains with 42's 47's and 22's carrying the cages up until the end. Kilkenny was always full of 22's behind the opposite platform from the station buildings. Rich
  6. The flats look tasty, infact I would run some without loads as it really makes the skeletal frame look the part of a wagon that's been in service sometime since it last saw a lick of paint. Plus it would be a shame to hide your fine work. Rich
  7. Excellent Noel I love the IR logos on the Craven.
  8. Excellent news I love the keg liners. Will definitely be ordering some of these.
  9. Very nice work so far. The different colour doors look authentic.
  10. Nice sentiment and nice gesture gents. Decent.
  11. Just catching up on TJ and as always hugely enjoyable and educational Noel. I love the lights on the Hobs wagons the extra bit of detail goes such a long way. Rich
  12. I'll hold your jacket DJ. Rich,
  13. Have to agree DJ they really are a superb model. They just look amazing in a full rake. I have to say that I love the ballasts also.
  14. Haven't had time recently to follow what's happening at the junction. Made up for it tonight hugely enjoyable as always Noel. Rich
  15. They look amazing and it's nice to see anything running on Barrow street Rich
  16. Modelu figures and other parts in the range are top notch. A level crossing keeper would be nice also. Rich
  17. He's ignoring Pat. I've no doubt he will be along to tell us how much of a good customer he really is. I also reckon a few of his pals are running into phone booths to change into their superman costumes to rescue him.
  18. Excellent work pal. 220 has always been my favorite of the class. The exhaust always sounded a bit different. The gates look amazing too. Des has brought some amazing kits to the Irish scene down through the years. Rich
  19. Smashing model the Hornby offering was a horror show. The MGR'S are a classic looking train. Rich,
  20. Nice work. It's a decent kit, just a shame that they used a MK1 gangway connecter instead of a MK111. I think George Dent built the prototype that the kits were cast from. Rich
  21. Fantastic achievement men. I agree with George that the A is a far superior model. Rich,
  22. Lovely scenes Noel Really like 007 Seamus O'Bond. Rich
  23. Another smashing model and a great choice. Rich
  24. Shouldn't these questions and requests for info per dcc settings be sent to IRM. Questions are always answered swiftly and concisely by the lads and in lots of cases quicker than on here Rich
  25. Exactly, it's the contemporary rolling stock that appeals to a larger amount of the younger generation. The constant monotony of ridiculing the current fleets is stale and well past it's sell by date now. Rich
