  1. Not a bad start at all What masking tape are you using?
  2. It's also very similar to a GNRI JT class if you made a new cab for it.
  3. Great tip! Beautiful layout by the way. You're layout perfectly captures the feel of a rural Irish railway.
  4. The Sulzer looks well! Especially the side on shots.
  5. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coaching_stock_of_Ireland#Liveries_since_inception_of_CI.C3.89 There are some paint codes in the article I've linked to above.
  6. http://railphotoarchive.org/rpc_zoom.php?img=0385020167000
  7. The NIR mk2s have airbrakes same as the IR mk3s
  8. Did you ever consider that he may have seen photos online before but couldn't recall where? He was helpful, he said there was a special in the mid 80s, most likely answering the OP's question. In fact, he's been the most helpful poster on the thread so enough with the Killucan bashing please
  9. Here's the one I found now but there are others. There are lots of great railway photos on that site http://www.geograph.ie/photo/3257262
  10. Hi Guys, I have this Bachmann 32-936 Regional Railways Class 150/2 Railcar for sale. It is in mint condition and has never even been removed from the box. These are British models but are ideal for spraying into Irish liveries should the owner wish to and also are the basis for the D&M Models 2600 railcar for which we offer the brass sides in kit form. I'm looking to get 80 Euro but will accept reasonable offers. Please contact me by email dmmodelmakers@gmail.com or by PM on this site. Thanks!
  11. Hi Guys, I have this Bachmann 32-935Z Class 150/2 Mersey Rail Railcar for sale. It is in mint condition and has never even been removed from the box. 12. Will do! By the way guys, if any of you have some input, either in the form of photos, drawings or information if be delighted if you could contribute. You can post on this thread or send me an email. Thanks in advance!
  13. Yuk! I'm afraid it's all construction lines in multiple layers so it wont look like much. You'll have to wait until an assembled example is ready before any pictures will be posted
  14. Hi Guys, I have Murphy Models/Bachmann 141 and 181 class locos for sale. They are: B141 in original condition MM0141 B181 in original condition MM0181 Both are in excellent condition and have a driver and end detail fitted to one end. The only minor issue is some small damage to handrails on both locos but these are easily replaced with spares. I'm looking to get 100 Euro each but will accept reasonable offers.
  15. Hi Guys, I have 2x Lima Mk2s for sale. They're both in decent condition and unboxed. Both are numbered 5102. I'm looking to get 60 Euro for the pair but will accept reasonable offers.
  16. Hi Kieran, The CAD is at an advanced stage but I still have to prioritise the current orders for Enterprise and Railcar sets so it's still a little way off. Please bear with me, I'm going as fast as I can.
  17. Hi Guys, I have 3 of these Piko Timber Wagons for sale. They're in near perfect condition. I'm looking for 40 Euro each but will accept reasonable offers.
  18. There are plenty of photos to see in the D&M Models section of this site.
  19. Not including wheels or couplings I assume? These are included in the prestwin 7 euro price. Well, if you can produce an accurate chassis for 4 euro I'll be your first customer but I'll believe it when I see it. I don't mean to be negative or bitchy, I just can't see it working out.
  20. I have indeed and I can't say I believe it's possible to save much or at all on the cost of the prestwin. This thread is leading punters to believe that a wagon half the price and twice the accuracy is just around the corner and the fact is it is not. All the other bits will cost the same and at best you'll save a euro or two on the chassis, which to the untrained eye will look pretty much the same.
  21. So what's the alternative? Newly designed chassis will increase the price. And chaps are complaining about price.
