  1. Good afternoon all, A final April update from me, with photos from both the 29th and 30th April. Wednesday, 29th April: Photos from Portlaoise, Heuston, Inchicore, Kildare and Sallins, featuring 4008, 078 and 218 amongst others. All photos can be seen here - Thursday, 30th April: Mainly photos from Portarlington with a couple from Kildare and Heuston.   2. CAWS is on the Dublin-Cork, Dublin-Dundalk, Dublin-Maynooth and some parts of the Galway and Waterford routes. In all respects, bar signal indication repitition, it is the same as AWS. ATP is used for DART services but is being combined with CAWS at the moment (Howth branch and Maynooth - Enfield are fitted)
  3. Equally here rebelred - although mine is photography and model railways! Spent about €1000 on camera equipment over the last year, and probably got about the same amount of stock stored away, waiting for me to get some solder! Still, you learn some great skills along the way - such as soldering!

  7. They have apid for the overhaul of 216 and another, as yet unidentified, 201. Locos will have IÉ Crew and be maintained and owned by IÉ
  8. 208 and 209 would be required on a daily basis for Enterprise work, so more likely 111-113, as they seem to spend most of their time idle

  12. Indeed, 206 is in the more complete livery, as seen at Portarlington: 8208 is the next one, currently in the works at Inchicore.

  17. 743 was a pure fluke Chevron - bearing in mind the first HOBS train was due into Newbridge at 0850-ish and 743 didn't leave (should be ahead of the HOBS) Kildare until 0911! The rest, you hear things around and just hope for the best!
