  1. Just asking as alot of decal manufactures must seek permission before using logo's, fonts etc so what your saying is once you don't profit from something its OK to copy it
  2. Would there not be copyright issues if you guys were to use this font with out the permission of CIE/IrishRail
  3. Just hit it a few times with the big spanner and see if it works

  5. Hi Frank could you email some to me please

I just hope I get the shade of grey right I want to portray the loco as if she ain't to long out of the paint shop I will post some pics up when she is finished in a couple of weeks
  9. That video of the steamer in Scotland is just amazing
  10. Another waste of money mate
  11. Stunning Frank, Stunning
  12. I would suggest a minimum of 4' for the out side diameter of your helix
  13. Do or do not. There is no try. Yoda
  14. Fantastic bud brilliant idea maybe you could print some off and flog them at Stillorgan on the 8th
  15. I see where you are coming from bud but I think you are looking at the idea of modelling a modern day O'Connell street from an architect point of view. If you look at the idea from a modelling point of view fabulous buildings (maybe not the contents) motorised oo vehicles, the LUAS where it crosses the street, then you could do the night time scene even down to the drunks getting thrown into the back of the Garda van after scrapping outside Supermacs. I know the street has gone down hill but that's all part of the fun of modelling the grubby and cheap ground floors.
  16. Easily seen you are young. Ambience/class and the current enterprise don't go together. Ambience is slam doors, windows you could open and the clickity clack of the rails (before they started welding them) and to top it all off the roar of a 111 at the head of the train pulling up the climb out of Newry on her way to Dublin. Now that's what you call ambience. Vincent you were born 20 years to late bro you missed the ambience/class when it came to the enterprise. As I said DD's and ambience/class don't go together. Plastic, uncomfortable, no room, horrible, now those are the words to use when it comes to DD's and the present day enterprise.
  17. It wouldn't make for a naff model mate and as for the lack of trams does the LUAS not count. You could also motorise Dublin buses, taxis, vans, cars. Etc etc would make for a very interesting project.
  18. Or better still go back to the late 80's early 90's when we had the best enterprise sets. 071's and mk3's and 111's and mk2's way better than 201's and DD sets
  19. Broithe Little green men on flying saucers don't count as an impeccable source
  20. You on the drink again Bud
  21. =)) maybe in the future they will build a modern day version
  22. I was thinking that myself or better still just have your 201 and DD set sitting on the line broken down again
