  8. Nice and smart I love them in that silver livery well done
  9. It was very tempting Bud could you imagine the size of the airbrush
  10. I never laughed so much when the horn went of going over the 18 arches. But to be asked by the boss what's wrong with that, what's so funny. Goes to show that joe public wouldn't have know any difference in the sound dubbing. Anyway still enjoyed the show tonight.
  11. Eamonn just realised looking at your picture that it was 072 not 073 that took us from Dublin to Limerick. 072 and 083 had to be the two cleanest 071's I've ever seen just looking at your pictures again. Its a crying shame that no more rail tours were ever organised again using the Mk3 stock. Reading Garfield's thread Dark days at CIE you never know privatisation may not be to far away and the Mk3's might get saved from the cutter torch yet
  12. I'm not sure Rice if its that website or a book I seen a lovely picture of the wagons been shunted in to load the station. Looking at the picture that siding would have been on the right hand side
  13. As the wander said Seamus she was doing a driving experience day and the driver entered the sidings a little to quickly hitting some wagons. When they were repairing the loco they found a lot of rust and rot on her so she had to get extensive repairs. In one way the accident was a God send in that the rot might never have been noticed and fixed if it wasn't for the damage caused by the accident uncovering it.
  14. I like little things like that on a layout (thinking outside the box) On Old Blarney they have little things hidden all over the layout and David White walks around the crowd telling people what to look out for and to try and find them. It was great the way their club interacts with the crowd.
  15. What Eamonn didn't tell you was as soon as the thought I wasn't looking he went over and did the same.=)) as for Noel he wanted to take her home and put her in the front Garden =))
